Markerset Edding 4085/4B krijtmarker, 1–2 mm punt, 4-pack

Edding 4085/4B chalk marker 1–2 mm tip, 4‑piece pack is a set of four chalk-style markers designed for clear, opaque writing and drawing on non-porous surfaces. The markers create clean lines with a 1–2 mm chisel tip, making them suitable for detailed lettering as well as broader strokes. The water-based, erasable ink wipes off glass, windows, chalkboards and other sealed surfaces with a damp cloth, offering a reusable solution for signage, menus, displays and temporary decorations.

Advantages

The set delivers consistent, opaque coverage that remains visible from a distance and resists smudging on suitable surfaces. The 1–2 mm tip provides a balance between precision and coverage for handwriting, drawing and highlighting. Water-based ink cleans easily from non-porous surfaces without leaving heavy residue when wiped promptly. The pack of four offers multiple colors or spare markers for frequent use in commercial or educational environments.

Suitable for

• Writing and updating daily menus and specials on glass or chalkboard displays
• Creating temporary signage and promotional messages in shops and cafes
• Classroom activities, blackboard annotations and craft projects on sealed surfaces
• Window displays and seasonal decorations on non-porous surfaces

Key specifications

• Tip type: chisel / chalk-style tip
• Tip width: 1–2 mm
• Ink type: water-based, opaque, erasable on non-porous surfaces
• Pack contents: 4 markers
• Suitable surfaces: glass, windows, glazed chalkboards, mirrors and other non-porous surfaces

How to use

Shake the marker with the cap on before use and depress the tip on a scrap surface until ink flows. Write or draw using the chisel edge for variable line widths; hold the marker at an angle for broader strokes and use the tip point for fine details. Allow a short drying time to reduce accidental smearing. To erase, wipe the marked area with a damp cloth; for more stubborn residues, use a mild cleaning solution suitable for the surface.

Recommendations

Use only on non-porous, sealed surfaces. Test on an inconspicuous area before extended use. Store horizontally with the cap securely closed to maintain tip performance and prevent drying. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight on written areas to reduce fading.
