Märklin My World H0 boerderij startset 72212 – batterijgevoede trein met dieren & rails

Young engineers can bring the countryside to life with the Märklin My World H0 Farm Starter Set. A child places the battery-powered locomotive on the oval of plastic track, presses the infrared controller, and the little train chugs past the barn, carrying toy cows and hay bales to the loading ramp. The farm theme invites imaginative play right out of the box, combining a working model railway with familiar rural scenes.

Why choose it

This set is built for small hands and big imaginations. The chunky, durable components snap together easily, and the simple infrared control lets even preschoolers manage speed and direction. The magnetic couplings make connecting wagons frustration-free, while the light and sound features add realistic play value. As part of the Märklin my world system, the track and vehicles can be expanded with other sets and accessories, growing with the child’s interest.

Ideal use cases

• First train set for children aged 3–6, introducing basic model railway concepts
• Playroom or classroom activity that encourages fine motor skills and storytelling
• Gift for young farm enthusiasts who love animals and vehicles
• Family hobby starter: parents and kids can build and operate together
• Foundation for a larger my world layout with additional track packs and rolling stock

Good to know

The locomotive requires 4 AA batteries and the controller requires 2 AAA batteries; neither are included, so have them ready before the first run. The set is designed for indoor use on smooth surfaces. All materials are child-safe and meet toy safety standards. The packaging includes clear, illustrated instructions for quick setup. Because it uses infrared control, the controller should be pointed toward the locomotive during operation, and bright sunlight may reduce range.
