Mechanisch toetsenbord Keychron V6 Ultra 8K – Full-size 100% QWERTY, Bluetooth, RGB, zwart

The Keychron V6 Ultra 8K is a full-size (100%) mechanical keyboard with a standard QWERTY layout in a black straight form factor. It supports wired, 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.3 connections, offers per-key RGB backlighting and hot-swappable MX-style switch sockets. Built with a gasket mount design, OSA profile double-shot PBT keycaps and pre-lubed Keychron Silk POM switches, the V6 Ultra 8K is engineered for durable daily typing, office tasks and gaming with an emphasis on low latency, customization and acoustic refinement.

Advantages

The keyboard provides an ultra-responsive experience thanks to an 8000 Hz polling rate in wired and 2.4 GHz wireless modes and Bluetooth 5.3 multi-device pairing. Internal acoustic foam layers, a PC plate and gasket mount reduce resonance and deliver quieter, more refined sound and feel. OSA double-shot PBT keycaps and screw-in stabilizers improve long-term durability and stable large-key actuation. With hot-swappable switch sockets and extensive firmware support via ZMK and the Keychron Launcher web app, the device enables broad customization without soldering.

How to use

Connect the keyboard via the included cable for wired mode, plug a 2.4 GHz dongle for low-latency wireless, or pair with devices using Bluetooth 5.3. Use the system toggle and supplied keycaps to switch between macOS and Windows layouts. Open the Keychron Launcher web app in a supported browser to remap keys, record macros and save custom layers; changes are applied through the ZMK-based firmware. Hot-swap switches by removing keycaps and pulling switches from the sockets without soldering. Charge the internal battery with the supplied cable and continue using the keyboard while charging if needed.

Recommendations

For best acoustic performance, leave the internal foam layers intact and consider testing different switch types if you customize switches. Use backlight only when needed to maximize battery life; turning RGB off can extend runtime significantly. When hot-swapping switches, use a proper puller and avoid force to protect the switch sockets and stabilizers. Regularly update keyboard mappings through the Keychron Launcher to keep firmware compatibility and customization settings current.
