MERTEN 232819 aardlekschakelaar-Schuko wandcontactdoos met aardlekschakelaar, 16 A, 230 V, polarwit

This flush-mounted Schuko socket outlet with integrated residual current device (RCD) provides personal protection against electric shock by instantly disconnecting the circuit when a leakage current of 30 mA is detected. Its compact design fits standard Merten System M frames, making it ideal for retrofitting safety in bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor areas.

Advantages

The built-in RCD reacts within 30 milliseconds, significantly reducing the risk of fatal electric shocks. The socket features increased touch protection (child safety) to prevent accidental contact with live parts. A mechanical fault indicator and test button allow easy verification of the protective function. The halogen-free thermoplastic housing is robust, easy to clean, and maintains its polar white colour over time.

Suitable for

• Bathrooms and washrooms without existing RCD protection
• Kitchens and utility rooms where water and electricity may come into contact
• Outdoor installations such as terraces and balconies (with appropriate weatherproof cover)
• Workshops and garages using portable power tools
• Retrofitting older installations to meet current safety standards
