MERY Saltmarsh schepnet

Unlike typical round landing nets that can fumble fish at the bank, the MERY Saltmarsh Scoop pairs a rigid D-shape aluminium frame with a soft, knotless fine mesh. The flat front edge slides under fish with one smooth motion, while the deep basket cradles them securely. The fixed 100 cm aluminium handle keeps weight low for all-day sessions, and the quick-drying mesh resists waterlogging. Built for coarse and general angling, this net protects delicate scales and reduces hook snags.

Highlights

• D-shape aluminium frame (45 cm wide × 40 cm deep) for easy scooping and secure fish retention
• Fine, soft, knotless nylon mesh minimises damage to fish and reduces hook snags
• Corrosion-resistant aluminium handle and frame for long-lasting performance in wet conditions
• Quick-drying mesh prevents waterlogging and keeps the net lightweight during use
• Fixed 100 cm length offers a balanced reach without extra moving parts

In daily use

On the bank or in the swim, the Saltmarsh Scoop feels natural in hand. The aluminium handle provides a firm, comfortable grip, and the D-shape head allows you to slide the net under a fish with a single smooth motion. Because the mesh is fine and knotless, hooks rarely tangle, and fish remain calm while you unhook them. After the session, the net dries quickly, so it is ready for the next outing without musty odours or added weight.
