Mesh-systeem Xiaomi AC1200 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 5

The Xiaomi AC1200 Mesh System Router 2 Pack provides high-speed, whole-home Wi‑Fi coverage with a compact, minimalist white design that fits unobtrusively into any room. The two pre-paired units can form a wired, wireless, or hybrid Mesh network to eliminate signal dead zones and deliver consistent connectivity across large or complex homes.

Advantages

Pre-paired 2-pack simplifies setup by allowing any unit to act as the main router, with the remaining unit forming the Mesh automatically after initial configuration. Dual-band Wi‑Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) delivers up to AC1200 combined throughput for balanced coverage and speed. Millisecond-level roaming latency and automatic network optimization maintain stable connections for multiple simultaneous users and smart devices. Two Gigabit WAN/LAN auto-sensing Ethernet ports support flexible wired connections and the system can handle over 120 connected devices. Real-time monitoring and management are available through the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app.

Key specifications

• Model: Xiaomi AC1200 Mesh System Router (2 Pack)
• Wireless standard: Dual-band (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), up to AC1200
• Ports: 2× Gigabit WAN/LAN auto-sensing Ethernet ports
• Mesh modes: Wired, wireless, hybrid
• Roaming latency: millisecond-level
• Maximum connected devices: 120+
• Management: Mi Home / Xiaomi Home app

How to use

Place the units around your home for optimal coverage, keeping one unit connected to your modem via Ethernet if you require a wired backhaul. Use the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app to perform the initial configuration on the main unit; because the two units are pre-paired, powering the second unit will automatically add it to the Mesh network. The system supports wired, wireless, or hybrid backhaul and will optimize connections and roaming automatically to maintain stable performance.

Recommendations

For best performance, position units in open areas away from large metal objects and appliances, use the 2.4 GHz band for extended coverage through walls, and the 5 GHz band for high-bandwidth activities like streaming or gaming. Connect the primary unit to the modem via Ethernet when possible, and manage firmware and device priorities through the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app.
