Mesh-systeem Xiaomi AC1200 dualband 2,4 GHz 5 GHz Wi-Fi 5

Ultimate minimalism and flexibility: the white minimalist design and compact form integrate discreetly with home interiors. Available in 1-, 2- or 3-pack configurations, the Mi Mesh System AC1200 is suitable for larger homes and delivers full-home Wi‑Fi coverage while maintaining a low-profile appearance.

Advantages

Pre-paired units in the 2-pack and 3-pack let you select any unit as the main router, then power on the remaining units to form a Mesh network automatically. Xiaomi Mesh technology supports wired, wireless or hybrid Mesh topologies with millisecond-level roaming and automatic network optimisation, providing uninterrupted coverage and seamless handover with a single Wi‑Fi name. The system supports easy expansion up to multiple nodes via the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app and accommodates many connected devices while offering gigabit-capable wired ports for flexible deployments.

Key specifications

• Wireless: Dual-band 2.4 GHz + 5 GHz, combined speeds up to 1200 Mbps
• Coverage: Designed for whole-home coverage; mesh expandable (1/2/3-pack options)
• Ports: Two Gigabit WAN/LAN auto-sensing Ethernet ports
• Device capacity: Supports connectivity for over 120 devices
• Mesh technologies: Wired, wireless or hybrid Mesh; seamless roaming with unified SSID
• App control: Mi Home / Xiaomi Home app for setup and remote management
• Special features: Automatic password sync with Xiaomi devices; prioritisation/acceleration for Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones in gaming scenarios

How to use

Choose any unit in a multi-pack as the main router and complete the initial network configuration using the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app. After the main router is set up, power on the remaining units and they will automatically join the Mesh network. Place satellite units in rooms or floors with weak signal to eliminate blind spots; use wired backhaul if needed by connecting Ethernet cables to the auto-sensing Gigabit ports. For additional units, add them via the app and monitor network status and connected devices from the app interface.

Recommendations

For best coverage, position nodes centrally in each area you want to serve and avoid placing units inside closed cabinets or behind large metal objects. Use the 5 GHz band for higher-speed applications and the 2.4 GHz band for better wall penetration. If gaming or low-latency applications are critical on Xiaomi/Redmi phones, enable device prioritisation in the app.
