Metaaldetector pinpointer Extralink SA-980 zwart – handmatige puntsonde

Handheld metal detector pinpointer Extralink SA-980 in black is a compact pinpointing probe designed for precise location of metal targets during treasure hunting, archaeological surveys and construction searches. The probe's small form factor enables single-handed operation and faster recovery of small metal objects, fitting easily into field kits and pockets. Extralink SA-980 is compatible with common detector workflows and aims to improve accuracy when extracting finds from soil, sand or grass.

Advantages

The Extralink SA-980 offers high sensitivity for locating small metal items, a compact and lightweight design that supports extended field use, and robust construction suitable for varied terrain. Its weather-resistant build reduces the impact of dust and water on the unit during outdoor work, while the ergonomics of the probe improve target pinpointing speed and accuracy.

Suitable for

• Treasure hunting and hobby detecting
• Archaeological surface surveys and small-scale excavations
• Construction site searches for lost or embedded metal objects
• Fieldwork where a compact, single-handed pinpointer is required

Key specifications

• Handheld pinpointing probe design, pocket-sized for field use
• High sensitivity for detecting small metal targets
• Compact length and lightweight construction for single-handed operation
• Weather-resistant housing with protection against dust and water
• Operational temperature range suitable for extreme outdoor conditions

How to use

Hold the Extralink SA-980 probe in one hand and sweep the probe slowly over the search area or directly above exposed soil where a target is suspected. Move the tip in short, controlled passes to narrow down the signal to the precise location of the metal object. Use steady, close-range movements when isolating small finds to avoid false readings from surrounding material. After locating the target, extract the object carefully to avoid damage, then re-scan the immediate area to check for additional items.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, keep the probe clean and free of heavy mud or debris, and dry it after exposure to water. When working in wet or dusty environments, periodically inspect seals and housings for integrity. Use controlled, methodical sweeps to improve pinpoint accuracy and reduce search time.
