Microconnect AUDLG1G audiokabel 1 m 3,5 mm zwart

The Microconnect AUDLG1G 1m 3.5mm Black is an audio extension cable designed to extend or bridge connections between devices with standard 3.5mm minijack ports. One end has a 3.5mm male plug and the other a 3.5mm female jack, with gold-plated contacts to improve conductivity and resist corrosion. The cable’s 1 m length and unobtrusive black finish make it suitable for desktop, portable and in-car audio setups where a short extension or easier plug access is needed.

Advantages

This 1 m extension cable provides a simple and reliable way to lengthen existing minijack connections without replacing cables. Gold-plated connectors help maintain clear signal transfer and reduce oxidation over time. The compact, lightweight construction supports easy routing and minimal strain on existing connectors, while the neutral black colour integrates discreetly into most audio environments.

Suitable for

• Extending headphones and earphones with 3.5mm plugs
• Connecting portable audio players to car or home stereos
• Providing easier access to recessed or hard-to-reach audio jacks
• Temporary connections for meetings, presentations or testing audio equipment

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1 m
• Connectors: 3.5mm male to 3.5mm female
• Contacts: gold-plated

How to use

Insert the 3.5mm male plug of the extension cable into the audio output or input of the source or device, then plug the existing 3.5mm connector into the female jack of the extension. Ensure connectors are fully seated to avoid intermittent contact. The cable can be routed as needed to reduce tension on the original cable and improve accessibility to the audio port.

Recommendations

Use the Microconnect AUDLG1G for short extensions and situations where minimal signal path alteration is required. Avoid exposing the cable to sharp bends, excessive pulling or moisture. For critical or professional audio applications requiring balanced connections or longer runs, consider appropriate line-level or balanced cabling instead.
