Microconnect B-FTP60025O netwerkkabel oranje 0,25 m Cat6 F/UTP (FTP)

The Microconnect B-FTP60025O is a 0.25 m orange Cat6 networking cable with RJ-45 connectors at both ends, designed for high-speed data transfer up to 10000 Mbit/s. It meets Cat6 performance tested to 250 MHz and uses F/UTP (overall foil) shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for home and small office networks and for connecting devices to switches, routers, modems or patch panels.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable provides tested performance up to 250 MHz and is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5. The F/UTP shielding reduces EMI and crosstalk, improving signal integrity and reducing transmission errors. Latch protection on the RJ-45 connectors prevents damage during installation in tight spaces. The 0.25 m length and bright orange color help with short connections and easy identification in crowded cable runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer, switch, router or modem to nearby network equipment
• Patching between a device and a patch panel or keystone jack
• Short cable runs in home entertainment or small office networks

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6, tested to 250 MHz
• Data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Length: 0.25 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: F/UTP (foil overall)
• Color: Orange
• Weight: 0.09 kg
• MPN: B-FTP60025O, EAN: 5711783247654

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports of your devices (for example, computer to switch or router to patch panel). Ensure the connectors click into place using the latch protection; do not force the plug if resistance is felt. For best performance, avoid tight bends near the connector and keep the cable length appropriate for the planned connection to minimize signal loss.

Recommendations

Use the Microconnect B-FTP60025O for short, high-speed interconnects where shielding against electromagnetic interference is required. Keep the cable away from strong sources of EMI and avoid excessive bending or crushing to preserve shielding and connector integrity.
