Microconnect B-UTP610O Netwerkkabel Oranje 10 m Cat6 U/UTP (UTP)

The Microconnect B-UTP610O is a 10 m Cat6 networking cable with RJ-45 connectors and U/UTP construction, designed for connecting switches, modems, routers or patch panels in home and small office networks. It supports Cat6 testing up to 250 MHz and data transfer rates up to 10,000 Mbit/s, and is backwards compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 cabling. The cable is finished in orange and includes latch protection to reduce the risk of connector damage during installation in tight spaces.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable provides reliable high-speed connections with Cat6 performance up to 250 MHz and compatibility with previous Cat5e/Cat5 standards. The U/UTP construction and RJ-45 terminations allow straightforward plug-and-play use, while the integrated latch protection helps prevent connector breakage during routing or installation. The 10 m length and bright orange colour make it easy to identify runs and organise cabling in both home and office environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers or modems to patch panels or wall outlets
• Home network and entertainment setups
• Small office LAN connections and workstation cabling

Key specifications

• Length: 10 m
• Standard: Cat6 (tested up to 250 MHz)
• Maximum data rate: up to 10,000 Mbit/s
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: U/UTP
• Colour: Orange
• Weight: 0.158 kg

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network device (switch, router or modem) and the other into the target device, patch panel or wall outlet. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it as needed to prevent strain on the connectors. The latch protection reduces the chance of damaging the clip when pulling the cable through tight openings.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within its tested frequency (up to 250 MHz) and avoid running it parallel to high-voltage power lines. Use appropriate cable management and avoid excessive bending radii to maintain signal integrity.
