Microconnect HDMDPP1 videokabel-adapter 0,15 m HDMI Type-A (standaard) DisplayPort zwart

The MicroConnect HDMI to DisplayPort adapter (model HDMDPP1) is a 0.15 m active video cable adapter that converts an HDMI Type A output to a DisplayPort input. The adapter includes a USB connector to provide the additional power required for active signal conversion. Its compact 4.5 mm cable diameter and 40 g weight make it suitable for use where space is limited; the product is RoHS certified.

Advantages

This active HDMI to DisplayPort adapter supports reliable one-way conversion from HDMI source devices to DisplayPort displays by using USB power when necessary. The short, flexible cable and standard connectors simplify installation in confined setups and reduce cable clutter while maintaining a discreet black appearance.

Suitable for

• Connecting HDMI-equipped laptops or media players to DisplayPort monitors or projectors
• Use in small workspaces or behind wall-mounted displays
• Temporary setups such as meetings or presentations where a short adapter cable is preferred

How to use

Connect the HDMI Type A plug to the HDMI output on your source device, and plug the DisplayPort connector into the DisplayPort input on your monitor or projector. If the display does not receive a signal, connect the adapter's USB power lead to a USB port on the source device or an external USB power supply to provide the required power for active conversion. Ensure both devices are powered on and set to the correct input/output sources.

Recommendations

For best results, use the adapter for short-distance connections (up to the device cable length) and avoid bending the cable sharply. If the source device cannot supply enough USB power, use an external USB power source. This adapter provides one-way conversion from HDMI to DisplayPort and will not convert DisplayPort to HDMI.
