Microconnect SFTP70025O netwerkkabel oranje 0,25 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Microconnect SFTP70025O RJ-45 Cat7 0.25 m Orange is a short S/FTP shielded patch cable that provides a reliable connection between network devices such as switches, routers, modems or patch panels. Designed to meet Cat7 requirements and tested up to 600 MHz, the cable is fitted with RJ-45 connectors and is backward compatible with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 installations. Its bright orange jacket improves visibility in dense cabling environments while the compact 0.25 m length is suitable for short links in racks, wall outlets or between nearby equipment.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk, improving signal integrity and reducing transmission errors. Manufactured with robust RJ-45 connectors and a snagless boot to protect the connector clip during installation, the cable delivers stable, high-speed connectivity in tight spaces. Its Cat7 specification and backward compatibility make it flexible for mixed-network environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers, modems and patch panels over short distances
• Server racks and network cabinets where visible, colour-coded cabling is helpful
• Home and small office network connections and entertainment systems

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat7 (tested up to 600 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 0.25 m
• Colour: Orange
• Compatibility: Backward compatible with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5
• Weight: 0.02 kg

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding port on your network devices (for example, switch to router or patch panel to switch). Ensure the snagless boot protects the clip during insertion and removal. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and keep runs within the intended short distance; maintain proper grounding of connected equipment when using shielded cabling.

Recommendations

Use this Microconnect Cat7 SFTP cable for short, high-integrity connections in racks or between nearby devices. Combine with proper patch panels and grounded shields to maximise interference protection and data stability.
