Microconnect SFTP7015O Netwerkkabel oranje 1,5 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The MicroConnect SFTP7015O is a 1.5 m orange networking cable that conforms to the Cat7 standard and uses S/FTP shielding with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It provides a convenient, reliable wired connection between network devices such as switches, modems, routers or to structured cabling via patch panels, keystone jacks or wall outlets. The cable is suitable for small office, home network and entertainment applications and combines Cat7 testing up to 600 MHz with Cat6a-compatible connectors for broad backward compatibility.

Advantages

The SFTP7015O offers shielded performance to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk, helping to maintain data integrity and stable transmission rates. It uses RJ-45 connectors for compatibility with common network devices and is manufactured with a snagless strain-relief design to protect the connector tab during installation in confined spaces. The orange color makes the cable easy to identify within cabling installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and modems to patch panels or wall outlets
• Small office and home network links
• Networked entertainment devices (media players, smart TVs, game consoles)

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat7 (tested up to 600 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 1.5 m
• Colour: Orange
• Weight: 0.03 kg
• Compatibility: Backwards compatible with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into your network device (switch, router, modem or wall port) and the other end into the corresponding port of the destination device or patch panel. Ensure connectors click into place and route the cable to avoid sharp bends or excessive tension. For installations in narrow pathways, use the snagless strain-relief feature to protect the connector tab while passing the cable through confined spaces.

Recommendations

Use this SFTP Cat7 cable in environments where reduced EMI and improved signal integrity are needed. For optimal performance, avoid tight coils, keep the cable away from high-power electrical lines, and verify connectors are fully seated. When integrating with existing infrastructure, note that the cable’s Cat6a-style connectors meet minimum Cat6a requirements while the cable itself is tested to Cat7 specifications.
