Microconnect SFTP705B netwerkkabel blauw 5 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Microconnect SFTP705B RJ-45 Cat7 5 m Blue is a shielded Ethernet patch cable designed for reliable, high-speed wired connections between network devices such as switches, modems and routers, or to structured infrastructure through patch panels, keystone jacks or wall outlets. It follows Cat7 testing up to 600 MHz while using Cat6a-compatible RJ-45 connectors and is suitable for small office, home network and entertainment applications.

Advantages

The SFTP705B provides S/FTP shielding that protects against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and reduces crosstalk, which helps maintain data integrity and stable transmission rates. The cable is backwards compatible with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 standards and is supplied with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. A molded strain relief (snagless design) protects the connector latch during installation in tight spaces, and the 5 m length offers flexibility for typical desktop and rack connections.

Suitable for

• Wiring between modem, router and switch
• Patch panel and keystone jack connections
• Home and small office network installations
• Wired connections for media players, smart TVs and game consoles

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat7 (tested up to 600 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield + individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Length: 5 m
• Colour: Blue
• MPN: SFTP705B
• EAN: 5712505455081

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (router, switch or modem) and the other RJ-45 plug to the target device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it clear of power cables where possible to minimise interference. For installations through tight openings, use the molded strain relief to guide the connector and avoid damaging the latch.

Recommendations

Use this shielded Cat7 cable in environments where reduced electromagnetic interference and higher frequency performance are required. For best results, pair with compatible shielded outlets and patch panels and avoid running the cable parallel to unshielded power lines for extended lengths.
