Microconnect SFTP7075Y Netwerkkabel geel 7,5 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Microconnect SFTP7075Y RJ-45 Cat7 7.5 m Yellow is a shielded networking cable designed for reliable, high-speed connections between network devices such as switches, modems and routers, or to structured infrastructure via patch panels, keystone jacks or wall outlets. With a 7.5 m length and RJ-45 connectors at both ends, this yellow Cat7 cable is suitable for small office and home network and entertainment applications. The cable is manufactured to Cat7 testing up to 600 MHz while using Cat6a-compatible connectors and is backwards compatible with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5.

Advantages

The SFTP7075Y features S/FTP shielding that reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) and limits crosstalk, preserving data integrity and transmission speed. Its construction includes strain relief on the connector to protect the plug during installation in tight spaces. The cable provides stable, low-error connections suitable for demanding LAN environments and media streaming.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and modems to patch panels or wall outlets
• Home networks and small office LANs
• Streaming media, gaming and other high-bandwidth applications

Key specifications

• Cable type: S/FTP (shielded, foil-screened pairs with overall braid)
• Standard / tested frequency: Cat7, tested up to 600 MHz
• Connectors: RJ-45 — Cat6a compatible
• Length: 7.5 m
• Colour: Yellow
• Backward compatibility: Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e, Cat5
• Weight: 0.03 kg

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into your network device (switch, router or modem) and the other into the destination jack, patch panel or wall outlet. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and strong electromagnetic sources when possible. The integrated strain relief protects the connector during insertion in confined spaces; ensure the connector is fully seated to establish a reliable link.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep cable runs within recommended maximum lengths for Ethernet, avoid running parallel to power cables for long distances, and use appropriate patch panels and keystone jacks that support shielded connections to maintain the S/FTP ground continuity.
