Microconnect SSTP603O netwerkkabel oranje 3 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

Microconnect SSTP603O is a 3 m S/FTP Cat6 networking cable designed for reliable connections between network devices such as switches, modems and routers or to fixed infrastructure via patch panels, keystone jacks or wall outlets. The cable meets Cat6 specifications with testing up to 250 MHz, supports data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and is backwards compatible with Cat5e and Cat5. Its orange jacket provides easy identification in installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP (S-STP) construction offers shielding that reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, helping maintain signal integrity and lower error rates. The cable includes latch protection on the RJ45 connectors to prevent damage when routing through tight installation spaces. Cat6 performance ensures higher bandwidth compared with earlier categories while remaining compatible with existing Cat5e/Cat5 infrastructure.

Suitable for

• Home network and entertainment systems
• Small office LAN connections between routers, switches and PCs
• Patch panel and keystone jack installations
• Audio/video distribution and high-speed data transfers

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6 (tested up to 250 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Length: 3 m
• Rated speed: up to 10000 Mbit/s (depending on network equipment)
• Colour: Orange
• Connector protection: latch protection on RJ45

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to your network device (switch, router or modem) and the other end to the destination device or to a patch panel, keystone jack or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and strong sources of electromagnetic interference where possible. For permanent installations, test the link after installation to confirm signal quality and data rates.

Recommendations

Use this S/FTP Cat6 cable for environments where reduced EMI and reliable high-speed links are important. For best performance, pair the cable with Cat6-compliant equipment and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines.
