Microconnect UTP615W netwerkkabel wit 15 m Cat6 U/UTP (UTP)

Microconnect UTP615W is a 15 m Cat6 UTP networking cable with RJ-45 connectors designed for connecting network devices such as switches, modems and routers to each other or to structured cabling via patch panels, keystone jacks or wall outlets. The cable supports Cat6 standard testing up to 250 MHz and is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5. Its U/UTP construction reduces interference and the white outer jacket provides a discreet finish for home and office installations.

Advantages

The cable provides high-speed data transfer up to 10000 Mbit/s and meets Cat6 performance for reliable LAN connections. Integrated boots (snaggles) protect the RJ-45 connectors during installation in confined spaces, and the U/UTP shielding helps minimise electromagnetic interference. The 15 m length allows flexible placement of devices without additional extension hardware.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and modems to patch panels or wall outlets
• Small office and home network cabling
• LAN connections for gaming, streaming and file transfer

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network device (switch, router or modem) and the other end to the target device or to a structured outlet or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click and avoid sharp bends near the connector to maintain signal integrity. Route the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference and secure it with cable ties or clips as needed.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths for horizontal cabling and avoid installing the cable parallel and close to power lines. When running through tight conduits, protect the connector boot to prevent damage.
