Microfoon MSI IMMERSE GV60

The MSI IMMERSE GV60 is a USB Type-C and 3.5 mm wired desktop microphone designed for streaming, podcasting, voiceover and content creation. Its matte aluminium body and 24‑bit/96 kHz sample rate deliver high-resolution recordings. The microphone offers four selectable polar patterns — Stereo, Omnidirectional, Cardioid and Bidirectional — enabling flexible capture of vocals, instruments, interviews and ambient sound. With a 3 m cable and table-mount form factor, the GV60 connects via USB for power and includes a 3.5 mm output for monitoring.

Advantages

The GV60 provides professional-quality audio through a high-resolution 24 bit/96 kHz recording chain in a compact, matte-finish aluminium chassis. Multiple condenser elements and four pickup patterns allow the microphone to adapt to different recording scenarios without external accessories. Wired USB power ensures stable operation, while the 3.5 mm output supports real-time headphone monitoring. The included 3 m cable and table mounting design simplify desktop setup.

How to use

Connect the GV60 to your computer using the USB Type-C cable; the microphone is USB powered and requires no external power supply. For headphone monitoring, plug headphones into the 3.5 mm output. Select the desired polar pattern on the microphone (Stereo, Omnidirectional, Cardioid or Bidirectional) according to the recording task. Position the microphone on a stable table mount at an appropriate distance from the sound source: closer for voice and solo instruments, farther for ensembles or room ambience. Adjust input levels in your operating system or recording software to avoid clipping.

Recommendations

For spoken content and streaming, use Cardioid mode and place the microphone 10–30 cm from the mouth. Use Stereo for musical performance capture, Omnidirectional for meetings or field recording that require full-room pickup, and Bidirectional for face-to-face interviews. Monitor levels and use modest gain to maintain clean recordings.
