Microfooncapsule Sennheiser MMD 835-1 BK, dynamische nierelement voor zang- en instrumentgebruik

The Sennheiser MMD 835-1 BK is a dynamic cardioid microphone capsule intended as a replacement or upgrade for compatible handheld microphones. It delivers a focused directional pickup pattern that reduces off-axis noise and feedback sensitivity, making it suitable for live vocal and amplified instrument applications. The capsule is designed for reliable stage and rehearsal performance in portable setups and sound reinforcement systems.

Advantages

This dynamic cardioid capsule provides consistent on-axis clarity and reduced background pickup, which helps isolate vocals and instruments in loud environments. Its construction is intended for durability and regular stage use, offering stable performance without relying on external power. The design maintains a balanced response for typical vocal and instrument timbres while minimizing handling noise when installed correctly.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This capsule is dynamic and cardioid, so it is not intended for applications that require condenser-level sensitivity or very wide frequency capture, such as studio ensemble recording or subtle acoustic detail. It may also be less suitable where omnidirectional pickup or stereo capture is required.

How to use

Install the MMD 835-1 BK capsule into a compatible handheld microphone body following the manufacturer’s mechanical and electrical guidelines. Position the microphone so the capsule's front faces the sound source and maintain an appropriate distance to manage proximity effect and gain staging.
