MIDLAND Albrecht Racer 60 CB-antennestok, 1/4 golf, 62 cm, voor DV-houder 67141

Mobile CB radios often suffer from weak transmit and receive performance when paired with a short or poorly matched antenna. The Albrecht Racer 60 solves this by providing a full quarter-wave stainless steel radiator that, when mounted on a suitable DV base, delivers efficient signal radiation for the 27 MHz CB band.

Who is it for

CB radio users who need a replacement or upgrade antenna element for their DV-style mount. It suits mobile installations in vehicles where a 62 cm whip is acceptable and where a separate DV base is already available.

Main features

• Quarter-wave (λ/4) design for optimal electrical length on CB frequencies
• Stainless steel construction for durability and corrosion resistance
• Compatible with DV mounts (base not included)
• 50 Ohm nominal impedance matches standard CB transceivers
• Handles up to 100 W PEP, suitable for high-power radios
• Vertical polarization for omnidirectional coverage

Tips

For best performance, pair this whip with a quality DV base and tune the antenna using an SWR meter. Mount the antenna as high as possible on the vehicle and ensure a good ground connection to the chassis.
