Militair vrachtwagen Amewi AMXROCK RCX8BS

The Amewi AMXROCK RCX8BS military truck is a 1:8 scale electric RC vehicle engineered for outdoor driving and scale-oriented model use. Designed for hobbyists aged 14 and up, this robust model combines a strong electric drive and durable construction to handle rough terrain while maintaining realistic military styling and proportions. With a compact weight of 3.6 kg it balances agility and stability for a wide range of driving conditions.

Advantages

The electric motor delivers consistent power and simplified maintenance compared with internal combustion alternatives. The model's build quality and chassis layout provide mechanical durability and predictable handling on dirt, grass and gravel. At 1:8 scale the truck offers a realistic presence and component accessibility for routine service and upgrades. Its moderate weight contributes to traction and resistance to tipping without requiring specialized equipment to transport.

Suitable for

• Outdoor RC driving on trails, fields and unpaved surfaces
• Scale model enthusiasts who want a military-style truck
• Beginner to intermediate hobbyists aged 14+ learning vehicle setup and maintenance
• Weekend recreational use and casual competition in local RC meetups

Key specifications

• Scale: 1:8
• Drive type: electric motor (brush/brushless variant dependent on kit configuration)
• Weight: 3.6 kg
• Intended age: 14 years and older
• Construction: scale truck chassis with reinforced suspension components suitable for off-road use

How to use

Charge the appropriate battery pack according to the battery and charger instructions supplied or specified for the model. Perform a pre-run inspection: check wheel nuts, suspension linkages, steering servo function and secure body mountings. Select a suitable open outdoor area free of traffic and delicate obstacles, switch on transmitter and vehicle, and perform a range and control check before starting full-speed operation. After each run, clean dirt from the chassis, inspect moving parts for wear, and recharge or replace batteries as required.

Recommendations

Use compatible batteries and a charger rated for the vehicle to avoid damage. Operate on appropriate terrain for scale off-road trucks, avoid deep water immersion, and store the model in a dry place at moderate temperature. Routine maintenance of drivetrain and suspension will extend service life and maintain consistent performance.
