Advantages

The antenna offers a compact design suitable for mounting on a variety of vehicle types and is engineered to deliver consistent CB performance on the 27 MHz band. Its construction prioritizes a balance between mechanical durability and signal efficiency, enabling more reliable communication under mobile conditions. The model is compatible with typical CB installations and contributes to extended range and improved clarity of voice transmissions.

Suitable for

• Vehicle-mounted CB radio communication on cars, vans and light trucks
• Mobile radio setups requiring an external antenna for better range
• Users who need clearer voice transmission while driving

Key specifications

• Type: Mobile CB antenna for external vehicle mounting
• Frequency range: CB 27 MHz band compatibility
• Form factor: Compact whip-style antenna suitable for roof or trunk mounting
• Material considerations: Designed for outdoor automotive conditions with weather-resistant elements
• Installation: Intended for use with standard vehicle CB antenna mounts and coaxial feedline

How to use

Mount the antenna securely to a suitable vehicle mounting point such as a roof or trunk mount, following the vehicle mount manufacturer’s instructions. Connect the antenna to the CB radio using an appropriate coaxial cable and ensure all connectors are tightened to provide a stable electrical connection. Adjust the antenna position if necessary to avoid contact with metal parts that could detune the antenna, and verify SWR and radio performance after installation to confirm optimal tuning and safe transmitter operation.

Recommendations

Check compatibility with your vehicle’s mounting hardware and use a proper ground plane or grounding method if required by the mounting type. Periodically inspect the antenna base and connections for corrosion or looseness, and perform SWR checks after any adjustments or seasonal maintenance to maintain reliable communication performance.
