Modulaire verbindingskabel ShiverPeaks 70090-W 6/4 westernstekker telefoonkabel

Modular Connection Cable ShiverPeaks 70090-W is a telephone cable with a 6/4 conductor configuration and Western (RJ) plug termination. The cable provides four active conductors across a six-position modular connector and is intended for voice and low-speed signaling between telephones, handsets and PBX equipment. With a 10.0 m length and white jacket, this ShiverPeaks cable supports standard analogue phone extensions and point-to-point connections in residential and office environments.

Advantages

The ShiverPeaks 70090-W offers a standardized modular plug interface on both ends for straightforward installation and compatibility with common telephone sockets and handsets. Its 6/4 conductor layout ensures the necessary conductors for typical single-line telephone use while leaving two positions unused. The 10.0 m cable length allows flexible placement of devices without the need for intermediate adapters or repeaters. The white outer jacket makes the cable visually unobtrusive in most interiors.

Suitable for

• Connecting analogue telephones to wall sockets or PBX handsets
• Extending phone lines within homes or offices
• Replacing damaged handset or modular telephone cords
• Low-speed signaling links where a 6/4 modular connection is accepted

Key specifications

• Cable type: modular telephone cable with Western (RJ) plugs on both ends
• Conductor configuration: 6-position connector with 4 active conductors (6/4)
• Length: 10.0 m
• Color: white outer jacket
• Intended signals: analogue voice and low-speed signaling
• Connector type: 6-position modular (Western/RJ) plug on both ends

How to use

Insert one modular plug into the telephone base or handset socket and the other plug into the wall socket or PBX port until it clicks into place. Ensure the cable is routed away from sources of electrical interference and secured to avoid strain on the connectors. For replacement of an existing cord, remove the old cable by depressing the connector latch and pulling gently, then connect the ShiverPeaks 70090-W in the same orientation. Verify dial tone or signaling after connection to confirm proper installation.

Recommendations

Use this cable for standard analogue telephone installations and short-distance PBX handset connections. Avoid running the cable alongside high-voltage power lines or near strong electromagnetic sources to reduce the risk of interference. If longer runs or data-rate requirements are needed, evaluate alternative cabling types appropriate for those applications.
