Monitor 27 inch Acer QG270 S3 VA LCD Full HD 1920x1080 1 ms 300 cd/m² 3000:1

The Acer QG270 S3 is a 27-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) VA LCD monitor that combines fast response and high contrast to support gaming and multimedia tasks. The flat 16:9 panel delivers a 1 ms response time and broad 178° viewing angles to maintain consistent image quality from different positions. With typical brightness of 300 cd/m² and a typical contrast ratio of 3000:1, the display emphasises deep blacks and clear details. The model is finished in black and is built without integrated speakers, a USB hub or VESA mounting, making it intended for desktop setups where screen performance is the priority.

Advantages

The VA panel provides a high typical contrast ratio for improved shadow detail and depth in dark scenes. A 1 ms response time reduces ghosting in fast-moving images, which benefits gaming and action video. The 27-inch screen size and Full HD resolution offer a balance between workspace and pixel density suitable for general multimedia use. The monitor’s simple, flat design in black fits standard desktop environments.

Suitable for

• Competitive and casual gaming where fast response is important
• Watching movies and video content with strong contrast requirements
• General home and office productivity that benefits from a large 27" screen
• Users who connect external audio or rely on separate speaker/headphone setups

How to use

Place the Acer QG270 S3 on a stable desk surface and connect your video source using the HDMI or DisplayPort input. Use the on-screen display (OSD) controls on the monitor to adjust brightness, contrast and color settings to suit your environment and content type. Connect headphones to the headphone output for private listening, or attach external speakers to your PC if onboard audio is required. Position the screen at a comfortable viewing distance and angle to make use of the wide viewing angles and to reduce neck strain.

Recommendations

For gaming, select the fastest response and refresh rate settings in both the monitor OSD and your graphics card control panel to minimise motion blur. Reduce screen brightness in low-light environments to save energy and limit eye strain. If mounting is required, use a monitor stand or arm compatible with the monitor’s base since VESA mounting is not supported.
