Built-in USB-C docking station

Built-in USB-C docking station

This Philips display features a built-in USB type-C docking station with power delivery. Its slim, reversible USB-C connector allows for easy, one-cable docking. Simply connect your notebook to this monitor with a single USB-C cable to watch high-resolution video and transfer super-speed data while powering up and recharging your notebook at the same time.

TUV Eye Comfort certified to reduce eye fatigue

Philips display meet TUV Rheinland Eye Comfort standard to prevent eye strain caused by prolonged computer use. With TUV Eye Comfort certification, Philips displays ensure flicker-free, low blue mode, no disturbing reflections, wide viewing angle and less reduction of image quality from different angles and ergonomic stand designs for ideal viewing experience. PowerSensor saves up to 70% energy costs

LightSensor for the perfect brightness with minimal power

LightSensor for the perfect brightness with minimal power

LightSensor uses a smart sensor to adjust the picture brightness depending on the room light conditions for the perfect picture with minimal power usage.

LowBlue Mode for easy on-the-eyes productivity

Studies have shown that just as ultra-violet rays can cause eye damage, shortwave length blue light rays from LED displays can cause eye damage and affect vision over time. Developed for wellbeing, Philips LowBlue Mode setting uses a smart software technology to reduce harmful shortwave blue light.

Less eye fatigue with Flicker-free technology

Less eye fatigue with Flicker-free technology

Due to the way brightness is controlled on LED-backlit screens, some users experience flicker on their screen which causes eye fatigue. Philips Flicker-free Technology applies a new solution to regulate brightness and reduce flicker for more comfortable viewing.

Effortlessly smooth action with Adaptive-Sync technology

Gaming shouldn't be a choice between choppy gameplay or broken frames. Get fluid, artifact-free performance at virtually any framerate with Adaptive-Sync technology, smooth quick refresh and ultra-fast response time.

How to use

Connect the monitor to your computer via USB-C for video, data and power delivery where supported, or use available video inputs with the appropriate cables. Adjust the stand height to achieve a comfortable eye level and use VESA mounting if you prefer a monitor arm. Configure display settings (resolution 3440 x 1440, scaling) in the operating system and calibrate colour or brightness as needed for your tasks. Use the built-in speakers or connect external audio if required.

Recommendations

For reduced eye strain, enable the monitor's TUV-certified eye comfort settings and set brightness to match ambient lighting. When using the UltraWide workspace for multitasking, arrange applications across the screen to take advantage of the 21:9 aspect ratio. If colour-critical work is required, perform hardware or software calibration.
