Monitor Samsung S32CG552EU 32 inch curved Quad HD (2560x1440) VA LED, 165 Hz, 1 ms, FreeSync, HDR10

The Samsung S32CG552EU 32" Quad HD LED 2560 x 1440 is a 32-inch curved VA-panel monitor offering Quad HD resolution and LED backlighting. With a native 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio, the display delivers detailed images suitable for multimedia, productivity and gaming. The panel is rated for a 1 ms response time and a typical 300 cd/m² brightness, and its 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles provide consistent color and contrast across wide viewing positions. The monitor has a sleek black finish and supports VESA mounting for flexible installation.

Advantages

The curved VA panel provides a high typical contrast ratio of 2500:1 for deeper blacks and stronger contrast in darker scenes. A fast 1 ms response time reduces motion blur in fast-moving content. Quad HD resolution (2560 x 1440) increases screen real estate and image sharpness compared with Full HD. Wide 178° viewing angles ensure color stability from different positions, while VESA mounting allows mounting on arms or wall brackets. Energy consumption is specified for SDR and HDR usage, helping to estimate operating costs.

Suitable for

• Multimedia playback and video editing where higher resolution and contrast are required
• Office productivity tasks and multitasking that benefit from larger screen area
• Casual and competitive gaming that benefits from a 1 ms response time
• Workspaces requiring VESA-compatible mounting and a space-saving curved display

Connect the video source using the appropriate cable (ensure your graphics card supports 2560 x 1440 output) and then connect power. Adjust the on-screen display (OSD) settings to set brightness, contrast, color mode and response time options according to content type. For gaming or fast video, select modes that minimize input lag and motion blur. Ensure the monitor firmware and graphics drivers are up to date for best compatibility.

Recommendations

Use the Samsung S32CG552EU in well-ventilated areas and avoid prolonged exposure to maximum brightness to reduce power consumption. For color-critical work, perform calibration with an external colorimeter. When mounting, verify VESA compatibility and load limits of the arm or wall bracket. Disconnect power before cleaning and use a soft, dry cloth for the screen. Review the energy consumption values (33 kWh per 1000 h in SDR, 64 kWh per 1000 h in HDR) when planning long-term operation.
