Mono 6,3 mm (1/4 inch) jackkoppeling ShiverPeaks 50700 — mono-adapter

Mono 6.3 mm (1/4") jack coupling ShiverPeaks 50700 — mono connector adapter is an inline adapter designed to join or extend mono TS (tip-sleeve) audio cables. It provides a straightforward mechanical and electrical connection for standard 6.3 mm instrument and audio wiring, enabling extension or coupling of guitar, amplifier, mixer and other mono audio leads. The compact form factor makes it suitable for stage, studio and rehearsal setups where a reliable, space-saving link is needed.

Advantages

The adapter offers a simple and compact solution for connecting two mono 6.3 mm cables without soldering or permanent modifications. Its construction provides consistent contact between plugs and sockets to maintain signal continuity and reduce intermittent connections. The inline design preserves cable routing flexibility and minimizes additional bulk on instrument or equipment cabling.

Suitable for

• Extending instrument cables for guitar, bass and keyboards
• Connecting mono audio lines between amplifiers and pedals
• Temporary joins in rehearsal rooms, studios and live stages
• Adapting cable runs where space constraints require a compact coupling

Key specifications

• Connector type: mono 6.3 mm (1/4") jack coupling (inline adapter)
• Signal format: TS (tip-sleeve) mono
• Compatibility: standard 6.3 mm instrument and audio plugs
• Typical applications: instruments, amplifiers, mixers, effects units

How to use

Insert one 6.3 mm mono plug into each end of the coupling until each plug seats securely. Ensure plugs are clean and fully inserted to maintain stable electrical contact. Use the adapter to extend existing instrument or audio cables or to join two cable segments temporarily; avoid applying excessive strain or twisting forces on the cable-connector junctions during setup and use.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, check plugs for dirt or corrosion and clean contacts if necessary. Use in dry environments and avoid exposure to liquids or heavy mechanical stress. For permanent installations or balanced connections, consider purpose-built cabling or connectors suited to the specific audio requirements.
