Advantages

This motor skills toy offers durable, child-safe pieces sized for small hands and a straightforward hammering action that helps develop precision and timing. The multicolour design aids visual engagement and makes it easier for children to recognize shapes and colours during play. The simple mechanics allow independent play while being suitable for guided activities with an adult.

Suitable for

• Developing fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for preschool children
• Early learning of colours and shapes through hands-on play
• Imaginative role-play related to building and construction themes
• Guided activities in preschool or at home to reinforce concentration and following simple instructions

Key specifications

• Design: multicolour components for visual stimulation
• Primary function: hammer-and-nail construction play to practice motor skills
• Materials: durable child-safe plastics suitable for preschool play (non-toxic)

How to use

Place the coloured nails or pegs into the matching holes on the base and use the toy hammer to gently tap them into place. Encourage the child to alternate hands, aim for accuracy, and count or name colours during the activity to add a learning element. Supervise play to ensure correct hammering technique and to prevent misuse of small parts. The toy is suitable for short, repeated practice sessions that gradually increase in complexity as skill improves.

Recommendations

Use on a flat, stable surface and under adult supervision for children under 5. Combine play with simple tasks—such as colour-matching or timed rounds—to extend attention and introduce basic counting. Inspect parts regularly for wear and clean with a damp cloth; do not immerse in water if components include adhesive labels or internal mechanisms.
