The Huffy Extent Blue mountain bike for children unisex 64349W is a 24" wheel, 18-speed bicycle designed for young riders aged approximately 8–11 years (height range 127–145 cm). Built with a sturdy frame and front suspension, this model balances durability and ride comfort for trail and park use. The bike features a combination of a front disc brake and a rear V-brake plus coaster/handbrake control options for reliable stopping power, and an adjustable padded saddle with an alloy quick-release seat clamp for easy height adjustment.

Advantages

The Huffy Extent offers a child-focused geometry and components that provide stable handling on mixed surfaces. Its 18-speed drivetrain gives a broad range of gear ratios suitable for climbs and faster stretches, while front suspension smooths bumps and improves control on uneven terrain. How to use

Before riding, adjust the saddle height using the alloy quick-release seat clamp so the child can place the balls of their feet on the ground while seated and reach the pedals comfortably. Check that the 18-speed drivetrain shifts smoothly across all gears and that the front disc and rear V-brake respond correctly. Use lower gears for climbing and higher gears for flat or downhill sections; practice shifting while pedaling to avoid chain drops. Inspect tire pressure, brakes, and suspension periodically and before longer rides.

Recommendations

For safe and optimal performance, fit an appropriately sized helmet and protective gear, maintain the drivetrain and brakes regularly, and use correct tire pressure for the terrain. The bike is intended for supervised children and for recreational, off-road and urban riding within the recommended age and height range.
