The MSI MAG 244C is a 23.6-inch Full HD curved gaming monitor with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Built on a VA LCD panel, it delivers wide 178° viewing angles, a typical brightness of 250 cd/m², and a 3000:1 typical contrast ratio. The monitor supports HDR-ready image enhancement, a 180Hz refresh rate and a 1ms (MPRT) response time, and it comes in a black design with VESA mounting compatibility.

Advantages

The MAG 244C provides a high refresh rate and low response time suitable for fast-paced games, while the curved VA panel increases perceived immersion and contrast for darker scenes. HDR-ready adjustments improve contrast and shadow detail, and VESA compatibility allows flexible mounting options for different setups. Energy consumption figures are specified for SDR and HDR modes.

How to use

Place the monitor on a stable desk stand or mount it using a compatible VESA arm or bracket. Connect the video signal from your PC or console using the supported input (check supplied cables and ports). Set the display resolution to 1920 x 1080 and enable a 180 Hz refresh rate in your system settings or graphics driver. If desired, enable HDR-ready mode in the monitor menu and adjust brightness, contrast, and gaming presets to match your environment and game genre.

Recommendations

For competitive gaming, use the highest supported refresh rate (180 Hz) and set response time modes (MPRT) as required. Reduce ambient glare and position the curved screen at a comfortable viewing distance to benefit from the panel’s contrast and immersion. Ensure your graphics hardware and cables support 180 Hz at Full HD for optimal performance.
