MSI Pro MP341CQWDE computermonitor 86,4 cm (34 inch) 3440 x 1440 pixels UltraWide Quad HD wit

MSI Pro MP341CQWDE is a 34" UltraWide Quad HD curved monitor with a 3440 × 1440 resolution and a 21:9 aspect ratio. The VA panel delivers deep contrast and a 300 cd/m² typical brightness, while a 4 ms response time and up to 100 Hz refresh rate support smooth on-screen motion. The monitor includes built-in speakers, VESA mount compatibility and a white finish, making it suitable for office work, multitasking and media viewing.

Advantages

The 21:9 UltraWide screen expands the visible workspace, allowing simultaneous windows and timelines without frequent window switching. A 1500R curvature provides a more immersive and uniform viewing distance across the panel, which can reduce eye strain during extended use. TÜV-certified Anti-Flicker and Less Blue Light features help minimise flicker and blue light exposure. Multiple inputs (2× HDMI and 1× DisplayPort), factory-calibrated display modes and integrated speakers increase convenience for everyday office and multimedia tasks.

Suitable for

• Office productivity and multitasking (large spreadsheets, multiple documents)
• Content creation workflows that benefit from wide timelines (video and audio editing)
• Watching movies and multimedia with an immersive ultra-wide field of view
• Remote meetings and online classes using built-in speakers

When it may not be suitable

This monitor uses a VA panel, which offers high contrast but may have slower black-to-white transitions compared with the fastest IPS or TN gaming panels; users who prioritise the absolute fastest response for competitive gaming may prefer a different panel type. Also, the energy efficiency class is rated G, so power-conscious buyers should consider that when comparing models.

How to use

Place the monitor on a stable desk or attach it to a VESA-compatible arm or bracket. Connect your PC or laptop via DisplayPort or HDMI; if you use multiple sources, switch inputs using the monitor OSD. Adjust the on-screen display to select a factory-calibrated mode that fits your task (office, movie, etc.). Use the monitor's Less Blue Light and Anti-Flicker settings for longer viewing sessions to reduce eye fatigue. Use the built-in speakers for calls or casual media playback, or connect external speakers/headphones if higher audio quality is required.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm your graphics card supports 3440 × 1440 at the desired refresh rate over HDMI or DisplayPort.
• Decide if a VA panel's high contrast is preferable to the faster pixel response of IPS/TN panels for your use case.
• Check desk depth to ensure comfortable viewing of a 34" curved ultra-wide display.
• Consider power consumption and energy class if energy efficiency is important.

Recommendations

For multitasking and immersive media work, position the centre of the curved screen at eye level and use the monitor's factory display modes. Enable Anti-Flicker and Less Blue Light during prolonged use to improve viewing comfort.
