How to use

Ensure the appropriate 20V battery is charged and installed according to the battery manufacturer’s instructions. Load compatible 16-gauge nails into the magazine and confirm correct orientation and seating. Set the firing mode and safety features as required, then position the nose of the nail gun at the work surface, keeping the tool square to the material. Depress the contact tip and actuate the trigger to drive the nail, adjusting depth settings if available to achieve flush or slightly countersunk results. Regularly inspect and clear the nosepiece and magazine to prevent jams, and remove the battery before performing maintenance or clearing obstructions.

Recommendations

Use nails within the recommended gauge range and match nail length to material thickness to prevent splitting. Wear eye and hearing protection during operation. Store the tool and batteries in a dry, cool place and follow DeWalt battery handling guidelines. For consistent finish work, test nail placement and depth on scrap material before working on visible surfaces.
