NAS-behuizing UGREEN DXP4800 Plus met 16TB (4×4TB) SATA-schijven, 4-bay RAID-compatibel

UGREEN DXP4800 Plus NAS kit with 16TB total capacity (4×4TB) combines a compact 4-bay SATA enclosure and factory-installed drives to provide centralized file storage for home and small office environments. The unit supports multiple RAID levels so users can prioritize performance, capacity or redundancy. Designed for continuous network access, the NAS enables media streaming, automated backups and shared document storage while simplifying initial setup and future expansion.

Advantages

The integrated 4-bay design minimizes installation effort by delivering drives preinstalled into a RAID-ready enclosure, reducing time to first use. Support for standard SATA drives and common RAID modes offers flexibility for balancing speed and data protection. Gigabit Ethernet connectivity and concurrent access by multiple clients enable reliable media streaming and file sharing. The compact metal chassis provides passive cooling channels and stable drive mounting for consistent operation.

Suitable for

• Centralized file storage for home networks
• Small office backup and document sharing
• Media streaming to smart TVs and media players
• Light virtualization and small business file servers
• Automated nightly or scheduled backups from PCs and laptops

Key specifications

• Total usable capacity: 16TB (four 4TB SATA drives installed)
• Drive bays: 4 × 3.5" SATA bays with hot-swap capability
• RAID support: configurable RAID levels for performance or redundancy
• Network interface: Gigabit Ethernet for LAN connectivity
• Form factor: compact 4-bay desktop enclosure with metal chassis
• Power: external or internal power supply designed for continuous operation

How to use

Place the NAS on a stable, ventilated surface and connect it to your local network via the Gigabit Ethernet port. Power on the enclosure and follow the vendor's initial setup procedure to configure RAID mode, create user accounts and enable shared folders. Use the web-based management interface or included software to set up scheduled backups, media services and user permissions. After configuration, map network drives on client computers or connect via standard file protocols to access stored files and media.

Recommendations

For balanced protection and capacity, choose a RAID level that fits your priorities (for example RAID 5 for redundancy with usable capacity or RAID 10 for improved performance and fault tolerance). Maintain regular backups of critical data to an external location and monitor drive health using the NAS management tools. Place the unit in a cool, dust-free environment with adequate airflow and ensure firmware and management software are updated periodically.
