Enter the world of professional signage
In a world of digitalisation, signage is following the trend. Digital posters and information boards are now the most common method of information transfer.Where cost and reliability are key, NEC’s 8th generation of E Series essential displays is the perfect choice. Screen sizes range from 32’’ up to 98’’ to suit any indoor application scenario. With their eye pleasing slim bezel design, your content gets the attention it deserves, whether in small information installations or built-in solutions.
Plug and play
NEC’s E Series is designed for instant usage with an integrated media player for native UHD playback: the content can be run directly from a USB drive. Not only is this process easy to use, it also saves you time and money. Once installed, the embedded autostart time schedule function starts the screen and plays the content automatically at a certain time. For your security, the E Series supports infrared lock to disable the infrared remote control to block unauthorised persons from accessing the display. The screens can then be controlled via safe R232 command.
Sustainable investment
With its low cost of ownership and the Energy Star 8.0 certification, the E Series not only lowers your carbon footprint but also reduces running costs. A wide range of connectivity offers the possibility of multiple input sources and makes the displays a future-proof investment.
How to use
Place and mount the panel using appropriate VESA-compatible brackets, connect power and signal sources (HDMI or network), then insert a USB stick with UHD content into the integrated USB MediaPlayer for direct playback. The display automatically detects active inputs and allows easy switching between HDMI sources. For multi-display installations or remote control, connect the panel to the local network and manage settings via NEC NaviSet Administrator 2.
Recommendations
For reliable 24/7 operation, ensure adequate ventilation and stable mains power. Use high-quality HDMI cables for UHD/HDR sources and prepare content in native 3840 x 2160 resolution for best results. Regularly update firmware and manage displays centrally via LAN to maintain consistent performance.
