NEO TOOLS waterpomptang 250 mm, spanwijdte 42 mm, 25 vergrendelstanden, chroom-vanadiumstaal, DIN ISO 8976

Plumbers and HVAC technicians reach for these NEO TOOLS water pump pliers when they need a secure, non-slip grip on pipes, nuts, and fittings up to 50 mm in diameter. The box-joint design and self-locking mechanism bite down hard, so you can apply serious torque without the jaws slipping or your fingers getting pinched. The 250 mm length gives you leverage in tight under-sink spaces, while the polished head and grey atramentized body shrug off corrosion and job-site grime.

Why choose it

The 25 adjustment positions let you dial in the exact jaw opening for the job, reducing hand fatigue and preventing rounded-off fasteners. The hardened teeth (61 HRC) maintain their bite even after repeated use on steel and iron pipe. The pinch guard is a real finger-saver when you're working blind behind a water heater or under a sink. And because it's made in Germany to DIN ISO 8976, you know the tolerances and heat treatment are spot on.

Ideal use cases

• Loosening or tightening compression nuts on supply lines
• Gripping and turning galvanized or black iron pipe
• Holding fittings steady while soldering or threading
• Removing stubborn drain traps and basket strainers
• Bending light metal brackets or strapping

Good to know

These pliers are not insulated for live electrical work—always de-energize circuits before use. The plastic-coated handles provide a comfortable, slip-resistant grip but are not rated for high voltage. Keep the joint lightly oiled and wipe down the jaws after use to maintain smooth adjustment and prevent rust. With proper care, this tool will outlast many cheaper imports.
