Netkabel EFB Elektronik EK460.1,8 zwart 3 m BS 1363/A C13-koppeling

The EFB Elektronik EK460.1,8 is a 3 m power cable with a BS 1363/A mains plug on one end and a C13 coupler on the other. Designed for powering IT equipment, monitors, printers and other appliances that accept a C13 inlet, this black cable provides a straightforward connection between standard UK mains sockets and devices with IEC C13 sockets. The construction focuses on stable electrical contact and a length suitable for flexible placement of equipment in offices, server rooms and home setups.

Advantages

This power cable combines a widely used BS 1363/A plug with an IEC C13 coupler, enabling compatibility with many desktop computers, monitors, UPS units and printers. The 3 m length offers extended reach compared with short patch leads, reducing the need for additional extension cords. The black jacket provides a neutral appearance that blends with typical office and home environments while protecting internal conductors from wear and abrasion.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs and workstations to UK mains sockets
• Powering monitors, printers and scanners with C13 inlets
• Use with UPS units and power distribution units that accept C13 connectors
• Temporary or permanent cable routing where a 3 m reach is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 m
• Connector A: BS 1363/A mains plug (UK three-pin)
• Connector B: IEC C13 coupler
• Colour: Black

How to use

Insert the BS 1363/A plug into a suitable UK mains socket and connect the C13 coupler to the device's IEC C14 inlet. Ensure both the power outlet and the connected device are switched off before connecting or disconnecting the cable. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, pinching or contact with hot surfaces. After connection, switch on the mains and then the device according to the device manufacturer's instructions.

Recommendations

Use the cable only with compatible equipment rated for the local mains voltage. Periodically inspect the cable and connectors for damage, and replace it if you observe exposed conductors, cracks in the insulation, or loose contacts. Do not modify the cable or its connectors.
