Netkabel type F/C13 ShiverPeaks 15 m

The ShiverPeaks Power Cable Type F/C13 ShiverPeaks 15m is a 15-metre mains lead engineered for reliable AC connectivity. It pairs a Type F (Schuko) plug with an IEC C13 coupler and is rated for use with 230 V mains. The cable is intended to provide a stable power connection for a range of electronic equipment and is manufactured to comply with applicable safety standards.

Advantages

This 15 m power cable offers extended reach for flexible equipment placement without reducing power quality. The Type F plug ensures a secure earth connection while the IEC C13 coupler provides a widely compatible interface with computers, monitors, printers and many AV devices. Constructed to industry safety practices, the cable aims to deliver consistent voltage transmission over longer distances and minimise interruption risk.

Suitable for

• Desktop PCs and workstations where outlet distance requires a longer lead
• Monitors, printers and network equipment in office environments
• Audio-visual setups such as amplifiers, receivers and professional AV racks
• Server cabinets and data centres where standard C13 connections are used

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 metres
• Plug type: Type F (Schuko) mains plug
• Coupler: IEC C13 female
• Rated voltage: 230 V AC
• Colour: typically black (confirm locally available variants)

How to use

Connect the Type F plug to a compatible 230 V wall outlet or distribution unit, ensuring the plug is fully inserted and the earth contact is engaged. Attach the IEC C13 coupler to the device's matching inlet, pushing the connector until it sits securely. Avoid sharp bends and heavy kinks along the run and position the cable to prevent tripping hazards. Do not use the cable if the insulation or connectors show visible damage; disconnect from the mains before inspecting or cleaning nearby equipment.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, route the cable away from heat sources and sharp edges, and avoid overloading the connected circuit. In environments with multiple high-current devices, verify the total load does not exceed the circuit rating. Periodically inspect connectors and insulation for wear and replace the cable if any damage or degradation is observed.
