Netwerk G.HN Bridge Converter ALLNET ALL-GHN101-2wire set voor 2-draadsverbindingen

The ALLNET Network G.HN Bridge Converter ALL-GHN101-2wire set enables data transmission over existing two-wire electrical or telephone lines, allowing network extension without installing new cabling. The kit converts G.HN signals for point-to-point connectivity and is intended for use in home and small office environments where existing wiring can be repurposed to extend network reach. The set contains the components required to create a direct link between two locations using the building’s two-wire infrastructure.

Advantages

The ALLNET ALL-GHN101-2wire set supports reliable point-to-point data transfer over standard two-wire lines, minimizing the need for additional cabling. Installation is simplified by using existing electrical or telephone wiring, reducing time and installation cost compared with pulling new Ethernet cables. The bridge converter offers compatibility with G.HN technology for stable network performance in short- to medium-range scenarios and is suitable for discreet network extension where running visible cables is impractical.

Suitable for

• Extending network connectivity between two rooms using existing electrical or telephone lines
• Small offices that require a point-to-point link without new cable installation
• Homes where Wi‑Fi coverage is insufficient and wired extension is preferred
• Temporary setups or renovation phases when new cabling is not feasible

Key specifications

• Technology: G.HN bridge converter for transmission over two-wire lines
• Connection type: Two-wire electrical or telephone line point-to-point
• Intended deployment: Home and small office network extension
• Installation: Plug-and-play design for simple setup using existing wiring
• Form factor: Compact network bridge units suitable for standard wall outlets or terminal connections

How to use

Install one bridge unit at the network source and the second unit at the remote location, connecting each unit to the local network device via Ethernet and to the building’s two-wire line for the G.HN link. Ensure that both units are powered and placed where the two-wire connection is continuous between them. After physical connection, the devices negotiate the link automatically; verify link status via the unit’s LEDs or management interface as applicable. If the two-wire path uses telephone sockets, confirm that any in-line filters or splitters are compatible or removed during testing.

Recommendations

Use the ALLNET ALL-GHN101-2wire set for short- to medium-range point-to-point extensions over intact two-wire lines; avoid routing across damaged or heavily noisy wiring. For best performance, minimize interference from large electrical appliances and verify continuity of the two-wire path before installation. If integrating with existing telephony equipment, check for required filters or separation to prevent signal degradation.
