Netwerk-IP-recorder Hikvision DS-7604NXI-K1/4P(D)/Alarm4+1 4-kanaals met PoE-switch

Hikvision DS-7604NXI-K1/4P(D)/Alarm4+1 is a 4-channel network IP recorder designed for small to medium surveillance installations. The unit supports connection of IP cameras and integrates a built-in Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch to supply compatible cameras directly, enabling local recording, alarm input/output handling and remote network access for live view and playback. The compact 1U form factor suits constrained equipment racks and small server cabinets.

Advantages

The recorder provides straightforward setup for up to four network cameras with centralized power delivery via the integrated PoE switch, reducing cabling complexity and separate power supplies. It supports local storage and remote access, offering flexible recording and monitoring options. Alarm inputs and outputs enable integration with sensors and external alarm devices for event-driven recording and automated responses.

Suitable for

• Small offices and retail shops requiring 24/7 video monitoring
• Residential properties and apartment common areas
• Remote monitoring of small warehouses or storage rooms
• Locations where PoE simplifies camera installation and power management

When it may not be suitable

The DS-7604NXI-K1/4P(D)/Alarm4+1 is limited to four camera channels, so it may not meet requirements for larger sites needing higher channel counts or enterprise-scale systems. It is intended for network IP cameras; analog-only camera systems or hybrid installations requiring many analog inputs may require a different recorder model.

Key specifications

• Channel support: 4 network camera channels
• Built-in PoE: integrated PoE switch to power connected cameras
• Recording: local recording to internal storage (HDD supported; capacity depends on installed drive)
• Alarm interfaces: multiple alarm inputs and outputs for external sensors and devices
• Form factor: compact 1U design suitable for small racks
• Network access: remote live view and playback over IP

How to use

Install compatible IP cameras and connect them to the recorder's PoE ports or to the network if using external PoE switches. Configure the recorder using the web interface or local display to add cameras, set recording schedules, motion detection and alarm linkage. Insert a supported internal hard drive for local storage according to manufacturer instructions, and configure network parameters for remote access and user accounts. Test alarm inputs/outputs and camera streams to confirm proper operation.

What to consider before purchase

• Number of cameras required — limited to four channels
• Required storage capacity and compatible internal hard drive size
• Compatibility with chosen IP camera models and supported resolutions
• Network bandwidth for remote viewing and multi-camera streaming

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use surveillance-grade hard drives and configure regular backups or external storage for critical footage. Place the recorder in a ventilated, temperature-controlled location and keep firmware updated to maintain security and compatibility. When deploying cameras over PoE, verify each camera's power draw to ensure the integrated PoE switch can supply sufficient power to all connected devices.
