Netwerk-repeater Tenda A33 dualband Wi-Fi 6

The Tenda A33 AX3000 Wi‑Fi 6 range extender is a dual‑band network repeater designed to expand wireless coverage in large homes. It delivers up to 2402 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and up to 574 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band, using Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) technology and 2 × 5 dBi external antennas to improve signal reception and coverage. The unit includes a gigabit Ethernet port for wired devices such as set‑top boxes, PCs, game consoles and smart TVs, and supports a wired Ethernet backhaul connection to the router for a more stable link.

Advantages

The A33 supports AX3000 speeds and 160 MHz channel bandwidth for faster wireless throughput and a combined networking rate near 2976 Mbps. Dual external high‑gain antennas extend coverage and reduce dead zones. MU‑MIMO allows simultaneous communication with multiple clients to improve overall network utilization, while the smart LED indicator and an automatic pop‑up setup page simplify placement and configuration. A single gigabit LAN port provides flexible wired connectivity for devices that require stable connections.

Suitable for

• Large houses and multi‑room apartments needing extended Wi‑Fi coverage
• Streaming 4K video and online gaming on consoles or smart TVs
• Connecting PCs or set‑top boxes via the gigabit Ethernet port
• Homes that prefer an Ethernet backhaul between extender and router

Key specifications

• Wi‑Fi standard: IEEE 802.11ax (Wi‑Fi 6), backward compatible with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac
• Wireless speeds: up to 2402 Mbps (5 GHz) + up to 574 Mbps (2.4 GHz)
• Combined networking rate: ~2976 Mbps
• Antennas: 2 × 5 dBi external
• Ethernet: 1 × Gigabit RJ‑45 LAN port (10/100/1000 Mbps)
• Product colour: White

How to use

Plug the Tenda A33 into a wall outlet within the existing router's coverage area, then follow the automatic pop‑up setup page or the device web interface to complete configuration. Use the smart LED indicator to find an optimal placement that balances signal from the router and extended coverage. For devices that need a stable wired connection, connect them to the gigabit Ethernet port. Optionally, establish an Ethernet backhaul by connecting the A33 to an on‑wall Ethernet socket linked to the router.

Recommendations

Place the extender approximately halfway between the router and the area with weak signal, avoid enclosing the unit in cabinets, and keep it away from large metal objects and sources of interference (microwaves, cordless phones) to maximize coverage and performance.
