Netwerk-switch Grandstream GWN7822P 24+4 poorten PoE

The Grandstream GWN7822P 24+4 Ports PoE managed network switch provides centralized connectivity for small and medium business LANs and VoIP deployments. It combines 24 user-accessible ports with 4 uplink/stacking ports and Power over Ethernet (PoE) support to power IP phones, wireless access points and network cameras over standard Ethernet cabling. The switch is designed for managed network environments where device power delivery and traffic segmentation are required to simplify installation and maintenance.

Advantages

The Grandstream GWN7822P integrates data switching and PoE power delivery in a single chassis to reduce cabling and deployment complexity. Managed features enable VLAN segmentation, QoS configuration for voice and video traffic, and centralized monitoring to maintain reliable performance in mixed device environments. PoE support eliminates the need for local power supplies on connected devices, streamlining placement of access points and cameras. Rack- or shelf-mountable design and standard Ethernet interfaces ensure compatibility with common networking equipment.

Suitable for

• Small and medium business local area networks (LANs)
• VoIP phone system deployments and office telephony
• Wireless access point backhaul and PoE-powered AP installations
• IP camera surveillance systems requiring centralized PoE
• Edge aggregation and uplink to core switches in branch networks

Key specifications

• Port configuration: 24 access ports plus 4 uplink/stacking ports
• Power over Ethernet: PoE support to power compatible devices over Ethernet
• Management: Managed switch capabilities including VLANs and QoS
• Form factor: Rack- or shelf-mountable network switch
• Connectivity: Standard Ethernet interfaces for data and power delivery

How to use

Install the switch in a network rack or on a stable shelf and connect the uplink ports to the upstream router or core switch. Attach IP phones, access points and cameras to the access ports using standard Ethernet cables; the PoE feature will supply power to compatible devices automatically when enabled. Use the management interface to configure VLANs, QoS policies for voice and video, and any port-specific settings required for device connectivity and security. Monitor port status and power consumption to ensure balanced load and reliable operation.

Recommendations

Place the switch in a ventilated environment with stable temperature and ensure adequate power capacity for all PoE devices. Plan VLAN and QoS settings before connecting multiple voice or camera endpoints to maintain traffic prioritization. Regularly review firmware updates from the manufacturer and apply them via the management interface to keep security and interoperability current.
