Netwerk-switch TENDA SG105M — 5-poorts Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000), zwart, desktop-/wandmontage

The Tenda SG105M is a compact 5-port Gigabit Ethernet switch designed to expand wired networks in home and small office environments. It provides five 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 ports with full-duplex support and a switching capacity suitable for handling multiple HD surveillance cameras, computers, and other network devices while complying with standard IEEE networking protocols.

Advantages

The switch offers full Gigabit ports for high-speed, low-latency connections and supports a switching capacity that enables up to 2000 Mbps per port in full-duplex scenarios. Its very small footprint (approximately 82 × 52 × 22 mm) allows flexible placement or wall mounting. Auto MDI/MDIX on each port enables plug-and-play operation without manual configuration, and the device is compatible with a variety of networked devices including IP cameras, PCs, printers, smart TVs and game consoles.

Suitable for

• Expanding wired ports for home networks
• Small office network connectivity
• Connecting multiple HD surveillance cameras
• Adding wired connections for smart TVs, game consoles and printers

How to use

Place the Tenda SG105M on a flat surface or mount it on a wall using the built-in mounting points. Connect the switch to a power source, then plug Ethernet cables from your router, computers, cameras or other devices into the RJ-45 ports. The switch will automatically detect link speed and MDI/MDIX, allowing immediate network access without additional configuration.

Recommendations

Use quality Cat5e or Cat6 network cables for optimal Gigabit performance; avoid placing the switch in areas with excessive heat or moisture. For installations with multiple HD cameras, verify camera bandwidth requirements to ensure the total network load does not exceed available upstream capacity from the router or uplink port.
