Unmanaged switch Tenda SG108M Gigabit Ethernet 8 poorten

The Tenda SG108M is an unmanaged 8-port Gigabit Ethernet switch designed to provide full-duplex Gigabit connectivity for small office and home networks. With a compact metal housing and wall-mount option, the SG108M delivers reliable wired connections for HD surveillance, computers, printers and other networked devices without configuration.

Advantages

All eight ports support Gigabit speeds and auto MDI/MDIX, enabling up to 2000 Mbps aggregated throughput in full-duplex mode and simple plug-and-play setup. The small form factor (124 × 59 × 23 mm) saves space and the unit is compatible with IEEE 802.3/802.3u/802.3ab/802.3x standards. As an unmanaged switch it requires no configuration and supports basic network expansion for homes and small businesses.

Suitable for

• Connecting IP surveillance cameras and NVRs
• Wired connections for desktop computers and laptops
• Networked printers and NAS devices
• Smart TVs, game consoles and media players
• Small office and home network expansions

The switch operates automatically—each port supports auto MDI/MDIX so devices can be connected without crossover cables or configuration. LEDs indicate link/activity status for easy monitoring.

Recommendations

For reliable HD video monitoring, connect each IP camera to a dedicated Gigabit port and ensure the uplink to the network/NVR is also Gigabit-capable. Install the switch in a ventilated location and avoid exposure to heat or moisture. Use quality Cat5e or Cat6 cables to achieve full Gigabit performance.
