Netwerkdoos ShiverPeaks BS74280-W — 2× RJ-45 Cat6a, wit

The ShiverPeaks BS74280-W socket outlet provides two RJ-45 ports compatible with Cat6a cabling, presented in a low-profile white module designed for in-wall or faceplate installation. This dual-port outlet supports high-speed Ethernet links and is intended for structured cabling systems in residential and commercial interiors. Supplied as a single unit, it offers two network connections in one compact footprint for tidy workstation, patch-panel and wall-mounted network terminations.

Advantages

The dual RJ-45 Cat6a ports deliver support for high-bandwidth applications and reduced crosstalk compared with lower category outlets, helping to maintain signal integrity for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over appropriate cabling. The white finish integrates with standard wall plates and office faceplates, while the slim single-module format minimizes wall space usage. Being suitable for common mounting methods simplifies installation and replacement within existing structured cabling runs.

Suitable for

• Office workstations requiring two network connections
• Home networks with multiple wired devices
• Patch panels and intermediate termination points
• Conference rooms and media hubs with dual-port needs

Key specifications

• Connector type: 2 × RJ-45
• Category support: Cat6a
• Color: white
• Mounting: in-wall or faceplate compatible single module
• Unit configuration: dual-port network outlet

How to use

Terminate Cat6a patch or permanent link cables to the rear of each RJ-45 port following standard wiring patterns (T568A or T568B) and secure the outlet into the wall box or faceplate. Ensure proper cable strain relief and maintain recommended bend radius for high-frequency cabling during installation. After mounting, test each connection with a network tester or cabling certifier to confirm continuity, correct pair assignment and performance up to the Cat6a specification.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this dual RJ-45 outlet with certified Cat6a cabling and compatible patch panels or switches. Keep cable runs within recommended lengths for the intended Ethernet application, avoid running data cables parallel to strong electrical sources, and perform certification testing for installations intended for 10 Gigabit Ethernet.
