Netwerkkabel BlueOptics SFP2121BU1MS LC InfiniBand 1m geel

The BlueOptics SFP2121BU1MS LC InfiniBand 1m Yellow is a 1-metre optical fiber cable with LC connectors, designed for high-speed InfiniBand network links. The cable's yellow jacket improves visibility within cable trays and racks, aiding organized cable management. It supports reliable data transmission between compatible SFP modules and InfiniBand equipment in data centers and network installations.

Advantages

This 1 m optical cable provides a compact connection option for short interconnects, reducing excess cable slack. LC terminations offer standard small-form-factor connectivity compatible with many SFP interfaces. The Yellow outer sheath enhances identification and routing in multi-cable environments, while the fiber construction ensures low attenuation and stable signal transfer for high-bandwidth applications.

How to use

Ensure both endpoints have compatible SFP ports or LC fiber interfaces and that devices are powered down or follow hot-plug guidelines from the equipment manufacturer. Align and insert the LC connectors into the corresponding ports until they click into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain bend radius recommended by the equipment vendor. Verify link status on the connected devices and check for expected network performance after installation.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m LC optical cable for short, direct InfiniBand connections within racks or between adjacent cabinets. Keep the cable labeled and routed in cable management paths to preserve signal quality and simplify maintenance. Avoid tight bends and excessive tension; clean connectors before insertion if contamination is suspected.
