Netwerkkabel EFB Elektronik K5516.25 RJ-45 Cat6 25 m oranje

The EFB Elektronik K5516.25 is a 25 m Cat6 networking cable with S/FTP shielding designed for reliable gigabit Ethernet connections. It features two shielded RJ45 plugs compliant with IEC 60603-7-5 and TIA/EIA 568B coding. The orange jacket makes the cable easy to identify in installations.

Advantages

S/FTP construction (pair individually foil‑shielded with overall braid) and AWG27/7 conductors provide stable signal transmission up to Cat6 performance at 250 MHz. The cable has moulded strain relief boots with latch protection to reduce connector stress. The sheath is LSZH (halogen‑free) and meets flame retardant and low smoke standards (IEC 60332-1, IEC 60754-2, IEC 61034).

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet networks
• Office and home networking runs up to 25 m
• Environments requiring identifiable cabling (orange color)
• Installations where reduced smoke and halogen‑free materials are required

Key specifications

• Length: 25 m
• Standard: Cat6, 250 MHz
• Shielding: S/FTP (4 x 2 x AWG27/7, PiMF)
• Connectors: 2 x RJ45 shielded, IEC 60603-7-5; TIA/EIA 568B coded
• Diameter: Ø 6.2 mm
• Sheath: LSZH (halogen‑free), flame retardant IEC 60332-1, low smoke IEC 61034, halogen free IEC 60754-2

How to use

Route the cable between network devices ensuring bend radius is maintained and connectors are not stressed. Plug the RJ45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports; the moulded boots protect the latch during installation. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high‑voltage power lines and secure it using appropriate cable management.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for horizontal and point‑to‑point connections within the 25 m length. For permanent structured cabling beyond 25 m or environments with extreme mechanical stress, consider using permanently installed patch panels or in‑wall rated cables.
