Netwerkkabel EFB Elektronik K8091.0,5 RJ-45 Cat5e 0,5 m magenta

The EFB Elektronik K8091.0,5 is a magenta networking cable with a 0.5 m length, built to Cat5e U/UTP standard. It features RJ-45 connectors on both ends with gold plating to improve contact conductivity and corrosion resistance. Rated for data transfer rates up to 2500 Mbit/s, this short patch cable is intended for reliable, high-speed connections within local networks and between nearby devices.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable provides a compact and flexible connection solution for short-distance networking needs. The U/UTP design reduces crosstalk and maintains signal integrity in typical home and office environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts offer improved electrical contact and durability compared with standard plated connectors. Its magenta color aids visual identification and cable management in dense cabling setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices within a rack or between adjacent switches and patch panels
• Short patch connections between routers, modems, and desktop computers
• Temporary test connections or compact workstation setups where a short cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Standard: Cat5e U/UTP
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Connector plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data transfer rate: up to 2500 Mbit/s
• Product colour: Magenta

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port until it clicks into place. Use the cable for short-distance links between network hardware such as switches, routers, patch panels, or endpoints. Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and maintain gentle cable routing to preserve signal quality. If connecting within a cabinet or rack, secure the cable to minimize strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat5e cable in environments matching its specification and length—short patch runs and close-proximity device connections. Keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic interference sources and avoid sharp bends. For longer runs or higher-rated networks, consider higher-category cabling.
