Netwerkkabel EFB Elektronik K8091.1,5 RJ-45 Cat5e 1,5 m magenta

The EFB Elektronik K8091.1,5 is a magenta-coloured Cat5e networking cable with a length of 1.5 m and RJ-45 connectors at both ends. Built to the Cat5e standard with U/UTP construction and gold-plated RJ-45 plugs, the cable supports reliable Ethernet connections for home and office networks and is suited for structured cabling where a short patch cable is required. The magenta jacket provides visual identification in multi-cable installations while the gold-plated contacts help reduce corrosion and maintain consistent signal contact.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat5e specification enables stable data transmission at common Ethernet speeds, and the U/UTP design balances flexibility with signal integrity for short to medium runs. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact durability and corrosion resistance. The 1.5 m length is convenient for linking devices within a desk or patch panel without excess slack, and the magenta colour aids cable management by making the line easy to track visually.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, laptops, and network printers to a router or switch over short distances
• Patch connections between wall outlets and network equipment in small offices or home networks
• Temporary or permanent runs in structured cabling where a clearly visible coloured cable is desired

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat5e
• Cable length: 1.5 m
• Shielding: U/UTP
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate (typical for class): up to 2500 Mbit/s (application dependent)
• Colour: magenta

How to use

Insert each gold-plated RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Use the 1.5 m length to connect devices located near each other such as a desktop computer to a switch or a router to a modem. Avoid pulling the cable sharply at the connector and route it without tight bends to maintain integrity. If used in a patch panel, ensure connectors are fully seated and that the cable is supported to prevent strain on the plugs.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat5e cable for 100BASE-TX and typical Gigabit Ethernet environments within short distances; confirm network device settings and switch firmware for compatibility. Keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to reduce possible signal degradation.
