Netwerkkabel LANBERG PCU5-10CC-0200-BK RJ-45 Cat5e U/UTP 2 m zwart

LANBERG PCU5-10CC-0200-BK is a 2 m Cat5e networking cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and U/UTP shielding. The cable is designed for stable Ethernet data transmission in home and office networks, providing a compact, flexible connection between computers, routers, switches and other network devices. Its black outer jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for visible or concealed cabling runs.

Advantages

The U/UTP construction combines an overall foil shield with unshielded twisted pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference while maintaining flexibility and ease of installation. Cat5e performance supports typical Ethernet speeds used in small networks and provides consistent signal quality over its 2 m length. Molded RJ-45 connectors on both ends ensure reliable contact and simplify plugging and unplugging in tight spaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer or laptop to a router or modem
• Linking network switches or patch panels across short distances
• Wired connections for smart TVs, printers and NAS devices
• Temporary or permanent desk and workstation cabling

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall foil shield, unshielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, molded
• Length: 2 m
• Colour: Black

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector fully into the corresponding Ethernet port on your device until the latch clicks. Ensure devices are powered and configured for network access; the cable supports typical Ethernet auto-negotiation for speed and duplex settings. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, heavy compression and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to preserve signal integrity.

Recommendations

For best results, use this 2 m Cat5e U/UTP cable for short fixed links or workstation connections. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines or large electric motors; when longer runs or higher shielding are required, consider higher-category or shielded alternatives.
